When you join a membership, you also get an account on the organization’s member portal. The portal is where you can check your membership, see your payment history, and find documents the organization has shared with you.

The member portal shows the organization’s own name and logo, so it looks like part of their website, not Ideali.

Your Member Portal Account

You create your portal account when you register for a membership. In the Your Information step, the email and password you enter become your portal login.

After you register, you will receive a welcome email from Ideali <no-reply@ideali.io> with the subject Welcome to [Organization Name]. It includes:

  • The link to your member portal
  • The email address you use to sign in

Save the email or bookmark the portal link so you can find it again easily.

Your Portal Link

Each organization has its own portal link, which uses the organization’s slug. For example:

https://app.ideali.io/xyz-company

This is the same slug that appears in the organization’s membership sign-up links.

Sign In to the Portal

  1. Open the portal link from your welcome email.
  2. Enter your Email and Password.
  3. Click Sign In.

If you forget your password, click Forgot password? on the sign-in page to reset it.

What You Can Do in the Portal

Dashboard
The dashboard shows your membership at a glance:

  • Your membership name, status (for example, Active), and billing frequency
  • The current membership period, for example Sep 25, 2026 – Oct 25, 2026
  • The email and address on your membership record

Membership History
View your active and past memberships, including start dates, expiry dates, and invoice numbers. Use the search bar to find a specific membership or invoice.

Documents
Find files the organization has shared with its members, such as guides, newsletters, or forms. Documents are grouped into categories, and you can search by category name. If the organization hasn’t shared anything yet, this page will be empty.

Settings
Update your full name and phone number, then click Save Changes. Your email address is your login, so it can’t be changed here.

Changing or Cancelling Your Membership

You can’t cancel or change your membership from the portal at the moment. To make changes, contact the organization directly.

For Organizations

Every member who registers gets a portal account automatically, so there is nothing extra to set up. A few things help your members get the most from it:

  • Add your logo: your portal uses your organization’s name and logo. Click Set up the logo at the top of your Organizer Dashboard if you haven’t added one yet.
  • Share the portal link: on the Membership Types page, click Login URL to get your portal link. Add it to your website, newsletters, and member emails so members can always find it.
  • Share documents: files you share with members appear on the Documents page of their portal.

Your portal link uses the same organization slug as your membership sign-up links. To learn more, see our article on sharing membership types.
